Getting started
Want the perfect blend of our Top Shelf Benefits? Start by sipping through these enrollment basics
Enrolling Family Members?
You may enroll your legal spouse or domestic partner (if they are not offered coverage through their employer) and your eligible children. You’ll need to provide each person’s full name, date of birth and Social Security number.
You’ll need to fill out forms and certify eligibility of your dependents. Be sure to visit Enrolling Family Members in the Resources Section for more information.
When to Enroll
Once a year, you can enroll in or change your benefits during the Annual Enrollment window in the fall (or within 45 days of your hire date if you are a newly hired employee). Otherwise, you won’t be able to enroll or make changes until the next Annual Enrollment unless you have a qualifying life event.
Where to Enroll
Go to sgconnect.southernglazers.com, then select the Benefits tile.
As a full-time SGWS employee, you’re eligible for benefits if you regularly work 30 hours or more per week.
As a new hire, you must enroll within 45 days of the date you were hired. Your new hire benefits kick in on the first of the month following 30 consecutive days of employment.
Keep in mind! If you don’t enroll within the first 45 days of employment, you’ll miss out on medical, dental, vision, FSAs, buy-up disability and supplemental life and default to no benefits coverage other than basic life and AD&D insurance.
You can’t make changes to your benefits outside the new hire or Annual Enrollment period unless you have a qualifying life event. Go to Life Events & Leaves of Absence for details.
*If you’re a new hire who becomes benefits eligible for the current year, you must complete your new hire benefits enrollment for the current year before you can participate in Annual Enrollment for the following year.
