In this three-part series we will learn about what the day-to-day role and responsibilities are of a working Sommelier. We will break down wine-math and costing as well as learn all the terminology around creating a profitable wine program. We will also define different styles of wine programs and give each student a case study to work on and present. You will finish this class feeling confident about what the expectations are from a Sommelier role, how to go about creating different styles of profitable wine lists and how to do the math and present that to ownership.
This course is recommended for those with foundational wine knowledge who are aspiring Sommeliers or preparing to sit the Certified or Advanced Sommelier exam.
